Authorised Luminous solar partner

Verde Solaire is an authorised solar solutions partner of Luminous. The company announced the partnership on 25 March 2023, and the announcement covered two things: on-grid rooftop systems in Noida, and off-grid systems for farmhouses around Noida and Faridabad that have no electricity connection.

What was announced

The original post was three sentences long. It said that Verde Solaire Private Limited had been made an authorised solar solutions partner of Luminous, the inverter and battery brand; that solar systems in Noida built by Verde Solaire with Luminous equipment are of high quality; and that Verde Solaire also supplies off-grid systems, which suit the many farmhouses around Noida and Faridabad without an electricity connection. It closed by inviting enquiries for solar power plants in Noida.

The certificate photographed with the post named the company and its district, Gautam Buddh Nagar, and carried a validity date of December 2023.

What a partner authorisation does and does not tell you

An authorisation means the manufacturer has listed the installer as one it works with. It does not by itself decide which equipment goes on your roof. That is settled job by job, on the load, the roof and the budget, and the project pages on this site name the panel and inverter make used on each installation. Off-grid systems for sites with no connection

An off-grid system stores the day's generation in batteries instead of exporting it, so it works where there is no supply to net-meter against. That is the situation at a number of farmhouses on the outskirts of Noida and Faridabad, which is why the 2023 post singled them out. A house that already has a connection can put an on-grid system on net metering and avoid the cost of batteries; a hybrid system sits between the two, adding a battery to an on-grid system for backup.
