30 kW residential plant completed
Verde Solaire has completed a 30 kW rooftop solar plant on a private residence. Its engineers designed the mounting structure so that the existing exterior of the house was left as it was, which the customer had set as a condition of the job. The company published the announcement on 16 February 2026.
What was published
The original post is short. It says the plant is 30 kW, that it was installed in a residence, that the structure design was unique, and that the engineers took care not to disturb the exterior of the house at the customer's request. It refers to a video, which is not reproduced here.
It does not name the city, the module or inverter make, the number of modules, the annual yield or the saving on the bill. None of those figures appears on this page, because none was published.
Why the structure is the point
On most home installations the frame is a standard rail kit bolted to the terrace at a fixed tilt. This owner wanted the array kept out of the view of the house from outside, so the frame had to be designed around the parapets and roofline rather than across them. At 30 kW that is a large array, and it still has to clear water tanks, staircase heads and the roof edge while sitting where it generates well.
What 30 kW on a house means
Verde Solaire publishes home systems from 1 kW to 50 kW, so this plant sits near the top of its residential range. The PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana sizing guide is 0–150 units a month: 1–2 kW · 150–300 units: 2–3 kW · above 300 units: above 3 kW; a home that needs 30 kW uses many times that, usually a large house with several air conditioners running through the summer.
The subsidy does not scale with it. The central subsidy is capped at ₹78,000 for any home system of 3 kW or more, so a 30 kW plant receives the same amount as a 3 kW one. A system of this size is paid for almost entirely by the owner, and the case for it rests on the bill it removes.
