Certified by Vikram Solar as EPC integrator

On 24 May 2024 Verde Solaire announced that it had been certified by Vikram Solar as a trusted quality EPC integrator. The certificate reproduced in that post is headed "Certificate of Empanelment", carries registration number N_2024_07 under an "EPC Integrator Empanelment programme", and is dated 21 May 2024 with a validity to 21 May 2026.

What the announcement said

The post made three statements. First, that Vikram Solar had certified Verde Solaire as a trusted quality EPC integrator. EPC stands for engineering, procurement and construction: one firm designs the plant, buys the equipment, installs it and hands over a working system. Second, that Vikram Solar is one of the few Indian panel manufacturers regarded as tier 1; that is the post's own description, not a ranking this site has checked. Third, that Verde Solaire had tied up with Vikram Solar's EPC division to supply plants to commercial and industrial customers.

What the certificate shows

The certificate is issued under the names VSL Ventures and VSL RE Power and signed by a business head and a head of operations. Date of issue: 21 May 2024. Valid till: 21 May 2026. The post does not say what the programme requires of an integrator or how the certificate is renewed.

That validity date has passed. As of 18 September 2026 Verde Solaire has not published a renewal, so this page describes the 2024 certificate, not a current status. If the manufacturer relationship matters to your decision, ask to see the current document.

Where Vikram Solar panels appear in Verde Solaire's work

The clearest published example is the 110 kW plant at Marwar Carpets, Panipat, from Verde Solaire's case study of 5 March 2023: 334 Vikram modules of 330 Wp with Schneider string inverters. At home scale, Navin Verma wrote on the testimonials page about his 10 kW system in Janakpuri, New Delhi: "I used Vikram solar panels and KSolare inverters with an elevated module mounting structure. The installation of solar plant by Verde was of very good quality". That system has its own project page.

What it means for a buyer

An empanelment says the panel maker was willing to put its name beside the installer's at the time of issue. It does not replace the checks that matter more: a written quote naming the make and model of every component, a PM Surya Ghar vendor registration you can verify, and warranty terms in writing.
