Rooftop solar prices in Noida and Delhi

Figures verified on 16 Sept 2026; next review 16 Dec 2026. Every number links to its source on the sources page.

A rooftop solar system for a home in Noida or Delhi costs ₹1,99,000 to ₹2,10,000 for 3 kW on Verde Solaire's published price list, before subsidy, and ₹91,000 to ₹1,02,000 after the central and Uttar Pradesh subsidies. The same 3 kW in Delhi nets to ₹91,000 to ₹1,02,000, with a generation incentive of ₹3 per unit paid for five years on top.

Every price on these pages is one Verde Solaire published in July 2025, and every subsidy figure is the rule as it stood on 16 September 2026, with the source linked. The written quote you receive after a site survey is the price; these pages exist so you know what to expect before you ask.

One page per city

Noida and Greater Noida sit on different electricity boards. Delhi has its own state subsidy and a per-unit incentive that Uttar Pradesh does not. Pick the city and the page applies the right rules.

One page per capacity

The central subsidy is ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the third, and stops at ₹78,000. That makes 3 kW the size where the subsidy covers the largest share of the price, and it is why most homes in NCR are quoted 3 kW or 5 kW.

What an all-inclusive quote should contain

The published ranges include panels, inverter, the mounting structure, net metering, installation and warranty. When you compare quotes, check that each one states:

  1. The panel make, model and wattage, and whether the cells are on the ALMM List-II, which has been mandatory for subsidised systems since 1 June 2026.
  2. The inverter make, model and rating, and its warranty in years.
  3. The structure: material, height above the roof, and the wind rating.
  4. Cabling, earthing and the AC and DC distribution boxes, which some quotes leave out and bill later.
  5. The net-metering application and inspection, including who pays the meter charges. In Delhi there is no application fee for domestic systems up to 10 kW.
  6. GST at 5% (since 22 September 2025, down from 12%), shown separately.
  7. What is not included: civil work, load enhancement, a battery.

Verde Solaire's quotes name every component and separate the subsidy so that the net figure is the one you pay. Read how we work for the survey and payment milestones.
