Where it sits in Verde Solaire's school and college work
Schools and colleges are a published line of work for the company. In an update of November 2024 it said it was installing 10 kW plants at schools and 20 kW plants at colleges, from its offices in Noida, New Delhi and Varanasi. The Varanasi branch, at Chetgunj, is the office nearest Ayodhya; the head office is in Sector 47, Noida.
Other institutional plants with their own pages give a fuller picture of what the company has done at this scale. The 20 kW plant at NISST in Punjab was installed for Central Electronics Limited with CEL panels. The 35 kW plant at a college in Greater Noida dates from 2019. The 147 kW plant at C-MET in Pune was ordered through CPWD and used Emmvee panels with a Delta inverter. Across all its work the company is ISO 9001:2015 certified and states it has delivered more than 50 MW of solar projects.
What a school in Uttar Pradesh should ask before a 20 kW plant
The central household subsidy under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana goes to an Indian citizen who owns a house with a suitable roof, has a valid electricity connection and has not taken an earlier solar subsidy. A school is not a household, so an institutional plant is priced without it, and the case rests on how much of the school's consumption falls in daylight hours, on its tariff, and on net metering with its electricity board. Classrooms, fans, computer rooms and pumps draw most of their power while the sun is up, which is the load pattern that suits a grid-connected plant without batteries.
Before signing, ask for the make and model of the panels and the inverter in writing, the structure design and its wind rating, confirmation that the net-metering application is included and who files it, and the warranty terms on paper. The institutions page explains how Verde Solaire scopes a school or college plant, the commercial payback model turns a monthly bill into a payback estimate, and how to choose a solar company lists the eight checks that apply to any installer. Warranty and service terms are on the warranty and after-sales page.
